Highly recommended! As a home baker, I'm now exclusively using ARVA Daisy Hard Organic as my base flour for yeasted, sourdough and soda breads, often mixed with other ARVA flours such as Spelt or Einkorn. I've been finding that it repeatedly produces doughs which are easy to mix and easy to knead -- and ultimately result in terrific oven spring, lovely crust and tasty crumb, whether baked in a clay cloche, a loaf pan, or a Pullman pan. Plus, baking with organic ingredients is not only good for my soul, it's consistent with my strongly-held belief in supporting the careful stewardship of this, our planet and our home.
Just the flour I have been looking for. This is my second order of it. Perfect for bread and other baking.
I have gluten sensitivities so after spending 3 weeks in Italy, eating all the amazing breads and pastas with no issues at all, thought I would give sourdough a try with some flour that has not been over processed as most North American flours are. I am eating bread again and it’s delicious.
