I’ve discovered teff a while ago, through my friend originally from the country where it is a staple, but I never tired to make the signature injera myself. My friend did it for me with Arva’s teff flour and she was very impressed with its quality and how it delivered the final product and so was I, for sure! I then made a loaf with other Arva flours, adding some teff and it was another success.

Needless to say, Arva is now my favourite place from where I keep ordering different products, primarily their flours and every time when I receive a parcel and open it, it’s like being a kid in a candy store!

It is the best I’ve tried so far, with decades of testing and trying so many different whole wheat flours from different producers, not only in Canada. Alva’s WW flour has a wonderful texture and blends in with other flours I buy from them flawlessly, making baking breads and other goodies an excitement each and every time!

Emmer flour from Arva is a delightful new grain in my baking, with a bit of a nutty flavour, adding a totally delightful taste to the breads I’ve been recently making. Highly recommended and thank you, Arva!

I'm glad to have found the online store. Amazon is too expensive and it is too hard to find in grocery stores. I love this stuff and have been enjoying it since I was a kid. I'm now 62!

I received this product and it is great. The amount is cost effective and great tasting. The oats are clean (no pieces of husk or other additives) and easy to cook. I would just recommend that some cooking instructions be placed on the bag for ease of use.

I recently ordered the Organic Heirloom Flour 3 pack, with shipping by Canada Post. For some reason there was a delay at the post office. The staff at Arva were very responsive to my concern that my package could be lost en route to me. Happily, it showed up and my first batch of Emmer Bread is rising right now!

This wheat bran is the best I’ve found for my healthy bran raisin muffins.

We only use Arva Flour Mill flours for our bread-making now. After reading about the quasi-poisonous ingredients in store-bought bread, we decided to move to making our own sour dough bread. We love the Daisy organic hard flour, adding some of the sprouted spelt and the 8-grain cereal to make it a bit more nutritious. We are extremely happy with everything we have purchased from AFM.

I’ve really enjoyed using this flour in scones, cookies & other pastries. It’s reliable and I can always count on my mix, whether it’s a cookie, biscuit or scone dough, to work out consistently.
