What a fabulous flour to add to my pantry. I couple it with Daisy Whole Wheat and or Einkorn to add extra healthy goodness and flavour of my breads. You can 'taste the difference' in the hardiness and flavour while adding rich colour and texture in each slice.
Arva's age-old milling process, coupled with small batches make a viable difference from the traditional flour available online or at the grocery store. I've shared the many flour varieties with friends here in Northern Ontario who also notice the difference when baking breads, pastries, pies, cakes and even their pancakes.

I purchased the Red River Cereal and used it to make the chocolate chip cookie recipe on the Arva Website. The cookies turned out great and the grandkids love them. The recipes on the website are great and I'm going to try some more Red River Cereal recipes.

This is a high quality rye flour. I use it to make my classic rye bread or rather Rugbrod. I will buy it again!

I will be 89 years old in June and have been eating Red River cereal from childhood. I like mine with fresh blueberries and a tablespoon of buckwheat honey on top ! I attribute my good health into my old age to this cereal and having bought a bag of Red River cream of wheat, I’m anxious to have a go at it.

I have been using Arva flours for years and am proud to support our local farms/businesses. I know that it was grown and milled here in Ontario. I also find we have less digestive issues (probably because of this). I have even made a road trip out to the mill and found it to be a great shop with a great variety of items available.

I love working with true natural flours like our ancestors lived on, not the over-processed stuff that we have all been brought up on. I am slowly getting used to the strong dense textures which they provide in my home baking. I’m hooked!

What a difference good flour makes when you are baking. I thought I was doing ok till I started baking with your flour. It’s amazing. I have used the kits also for making Beer Bread, but used ginger ale instead and it was to die for. I say I am a new baker now, because this is how I feel.

I've tried mostly all of cooked oats. To my mind, Arva Mille Scotch Oats are the best. They cook fast and taste great.

It was my pleasure to particupate in the inaugural sourdough class. It was thoughtfully coordinated to allow us to try each of the stages of a long process condensed into three hours. I learned so very much and have successfully maintained and used the provided starter to bake several times since the class. A great foundational investment!
