I’ve been through the love-and-hate (perhaps a bit too harsh word, but it was not likening them at several points in my life) phases with lentils - luckily, I finally decided I simply love them! Buying them from Arva makes it all more worthy, coming from a trusted supplier, a wonderful small business that I discovered last year and keep ordering so many different things from them, always looking forward to receiving a parcel! I’ve discovered so many new ways to prepare lentils, the French ones being so special, keeping their shape when cooked, delightful as a main or a side dish and in desserts, like muffins, that I can’t stop making! I recently re-discovered the health benefits of barley in helping lower and maintain cholesterol and sugar levels, so all good reasons to go back to preparing toasty stuff with barely, both in savoury dishes and by adding the flakes to your breakfast porridge. I love every bite of this bread I tried each four by itself, then mixed all three (daisy, Enkorn & Emmer )together and love the daisy whole wheat the most because it reminds me of my mom’s bread the taste of my childhood, I recommend this flour to everyone, thank you Arva flour mills.
