Red River cereal has been a favorite since I was a child. I was extremely diappointed when Smuckers pulled the product. Thank you Arva for resurrecting it. Online shopping is easy and delivery in quick.

Like all the other products I have purchased from Arva Flour Mills these Steel Cut Oats do not disappoint.
To have breakfast ready first thing, I put 1 cup steel cut oats in a SMALL slow cooker with 4 (not 3) cups water, put on low overnight. Voila - breakfast ready.
This recipe makes lovely creamy porridge. Just need to add your own personal additions - Blueberries, sultanas, applesauce etc.

Love Red River Cream of Wheat. It is much creamier in texture than the other US produced product and it tastes wonderful.
It's excellent for baking or as a breakfast cereal, and it's Canadian made. This meal is an essential pantry staple. For breakfast, I microwave cornmeal with water and then stir in a teaspoon of maple syrup and sprinkle dried cranberries. A good start to the day.
