We regularly use Red River Cereal to make cottage cookies, but anyone interested in increasing their fibre intake in a healthy and tasty way will appreciate it as a traditional hot cereal.
I am really enjoying using the Einkorn Flour. It took a bit of experimentation but everyone is enjoying my biscuits made with this flour and I feel great about serving home made biscuits made with this incredible flour.
I have made over 20 sourdough loaves with this flour and the whole family absolutely loves it. For those of us looking for “real food” it is wonderful to have the option of non gmo organic ingredients. Always ships out fast and I hope to be able to continue to use this product for many years to come.
Mixed the ingredients as per the package, came out very running. I had to add more flour, turned out like a thick pancake. But flavour was good.

Red River Cereal BOX 4 Pack - Shipping included! Peter E. Recently, I bought the Arva Mills Red River multipack special as a birthday gift for my sister. Firstly, let me thank you for resurrecting a staple that was served in our house while growing up in Woodstock, NB. Secondly, unfortunately, the mix/formulation did not meet my sister’s previous experience with the cereal. She was buying it prior to its discontinuation so it is not merely a long time childhood memory of taste and consistency, there was a change in the blending of the cereal.
My understanding was that Arva was working on returning it to the original recipe and I hoped that the recent batch would be closer to the original however, it wasn’t.
I wanted to share this as feedback for you and your milling/processing/formula team so that maybe Arva may revisit and revitalise the Red River formula.
On a positive note, she did donate the unopened boxes to her local food bank.
Excellent product. My breads come out beautifully. Always shop local from reputable shops.

Red River is one of my dad’s favourite breakfasts. He was thrilled with his Father’s Day gift.
My husband first tried this cereal on a remote fishing trip in the NWT. We recently rediscovered it as part of a healthy, no sugar, high fibre life style change. We add wild blueberries or other fruit. Delicious. And made in Canada!
These are fantastic raisins and will be going in a carrot cake soon!
Im not a morning eating kind of person [more a big lunch and a light but this is the perfect dinner for me. Fruit or honey or pumpkin pie spice its also easily made savoury ala shrimp and grits.
Trust me it is perfect.

Delicious, high fibre cereal that works great as a breakfast cereal and as an ingredient for cookies. My grandmother lived to almost 102 years and she ate this breakfast cereal regularly! 🎉
So far I've use it for banana bread it was great light and my banana bread turn on perfect
