This is the first time I have used Fife flour to make bread, and what a lovely surprise. It is wonderful to work with, and the bread turned out beautiful with a hearty, delicious flavour.
Bought some to try…only used it once so far to make biscuits. I can’t detect any difference with regular Daisy flower. I have to experiment with other recipes before i can give a definitive review
I have only made 1 loaf of bread with the whole Red Fife flour & it turned out well. Nice texture. A like heavier or dense than I was expecting but have never used whole wheat flour before so I was happy with it. I have been told years ago that I have wheat allergies, but it is so much grain decided to try it.
I just love this flour. Whether I’m making muffins or cookies this superb tasting flour really brings your baking to the next level. Try it. You will be glad you did!
