I've been reading about Red Fife flour and grains for some time, so decided to try Arva Flour Mills Red Fife white flour in bread making. The first 2.5 kg (trial) bag dissappeared quickly, as I am impressed with the almost nutty aroma and taste of the baked goods. While it doesn't rise quite as high as regular white bakers flour, it does lend added depth of taste to the loaf which regular white doesn't.
I've since incorporated the Red Fife white 2/5ths to 3/5ths bread flour which gives a higher rise plus retains the nice taste. I also re-ordered, but this time a 20lb bag!
I will continue to experiment with the Red Fife flour, also using Arva Flour Mills Daisy White in combination with Red River 7 grain cereal, amongst other formulas!

Loved the texture of this flower. Made blueberry muffins. They were great. Will try to take pictures next time
