I recently started using the Organic Daisy Hard Unbleached Flour for my sourdough bread and to feed my starter. I did notice a slight difference in hydration compared to my regular white flour, so I had to adjust my recipe a tiny bit — but once I did, the results were excellent.
The dough developed beautifully, and the final loaf had great structure and flavor. I’ll definitely continue using it for my sourdough baking.

This flour makes a good hearty bannock with good texture, and, when mixed with spelt flour, a taste that goes well with plum jam. A new favourite for my pantry.
We only use Arva Flour Mill flours for our bread-making now. After reading about the quasi-poisonous ingredients in store-bought bread, we decided to move to making our own sour dough bread. We love the Daisy organic hard flour, adding some of the sprouted spelt and the 8-grain cereal to make it a bit more nutritious. We are extremely happy with everything we have purchased from AFM.
