I bought this to try the pie crust recipe. I was not disappointed. Also enjoying this flour when making a rustic loaf of bread.
In an attempt to improve my homemade pancakes and waffles, I thought I'd fry a 3/4 Spelt, as white flour, to 1/4 Emmer whole flour in the recipe. The result was obvious to all who tasted the NEW blueberry pancakes.
I haven't been able to find a flour that won’t upset my sensitive tummy. I am not celiac but do have a sensitivity to wheat flour. I tried spelt and it was also hard on my tummy. This flour is the first flour that I can enjoy. It is my sensitive tummy approved.
It also has an amazing nutty flavour. My absolute new favourite!

I used Emmer flour for the first time and was so impressed with the flavor and soft texture of the bread. I was revisiting sourdough making and aside from my technique in forming needing a refresher course the flavor was amazing!
