I missed your hot cereal for several years. It had been a winter breakfast favorite of mine for decades, but after Smuckers took the product and moved production to the US, it just wasn't the same.
Last year my son found Arva and Red River Cereal online and shipped me 3 bags. He had wanted to see if his 2 year old daughter would like it: she loved it, as did I .
I'm so glad I was able to reconnect with Arva and your great cereal.
Two quick observations:
*If preparing a single serving, I found 1/3 cup of Red River to 1 cup cold water worked well.
*When heating for 12-14 minutes, bring to a boil gently. We have an induction cooktop. This approach worked far better than bringing to a boil on "boost", and then turning heat down and starting timing.
Am so very happy you have the rights to Red River Cereal, missed it for several years, and now am able to enjoy a childhood favourite. Thank you.

I’ve always loved this cereal. Had it for years and then it disappeared.
That is until Arva Mills brought it back. Good news for me and my hot cereal breakfast options.
Red River Cereal is a consistent favourite in our household
