Love this flour. Makes the most amazing bread. Sourdough or artisan, loaf Doesn’t matter. It’s a strong flour. Sourdough feeding a breeze But I also use the all purpose flour and am happy with both
I usually use Arva all purpose flour for my dough but decided to try their pizza flour instead.
Both work great. I think the only difference is how easily the pizza dough is to work with . I never roll out my dough I use my hands to spread it out on my pizza stone holds it’s shape beautifully
I wasn't sure if I would like this as a cereal- I bought it to add to bread, but I love the texture and taste of it. Really impressed with the quality. Thank you Arva!
I love this product. I buy 5 at a time. My mother (89 years old) makes our favorite roogebrood (rye bread) and hands them out to her children, grandchildren and neighbours in the building. It's delicious with Dutch cheese and butter. I make this myself too. As we were growing up, this was one of our breakfast meals along with porridge and cream of wheat.
I use this for pizza dough — it makes a great pizza!
I am now able to produce a nice sourdough loaf, tasty, and it is perfect springy consistency and not hard as a brick!. Hands-on experience through the whole process. Well presented.

Great natural, organic chemical free healthy choices. Many flour options for baking. Worth the experience. Try the cafe closes at 3 pm, snacks are great tasting made with all their own store products. 😋
So disappointed in this company. I’ve called. Emailed. And sent a Facebook message asking for the instructions. No one bothers to take the time to answer. I won’t buy from this company again because of their poor customer service.

You were right that the directions were hard to find, so we have now added them to our website. Here is how to prepare our Instant Potato Flakes (about 4 servings):
1. Bring 1 1/3 cups (330 mL) water, 2 to 3 Tbsp butter and 1/2 tsp salt to a boil.
2. Remove from the heat and stir in 2/3 cup (165 mL) cold milk.
3. Stir in 1 1/3 cups (about 80 g) potato flakes with a fork until moistened, let stand 30 seconds, then whip until fluffy.
For creamier potatoes, add a little more milk. For a stiffer mash, add a few more flakes. Each 400 g bag makes about 20 servings.

I love Red River and am happy you are keeping it available….what is extra spectacular is the speed with which you deliver….i never worry when I am getting to the bottom of the bag!
I have been buying Red River Cereal for a few years now and it is great. I decided to try the oatmeal this time and it is also great. The soup mixes are very tasty, but I found them rather granular tasting in texture, so I won't buy them again, but the cereals, definitely.
Greaves jams come from the centre of Ontario fruitland. Tasty, good texture, Greaves is just what you want on fresh-made buns and biscuits.
I love this amazing hot cereal and you can bake things with it and cook some very nutritious meals.
One day I hope to visit the mill in person…go Canada!

I just wanted to say thanks for the memories. I have not had the Red River 7 Grain cereal for probably 40 years. My mom use to make it when we were kids and I had forgotten all about it until I decided to boycott USA products and only shop canadian. That is how I found your web page. I just made my first batch of the 7 grain and it was delicious. As I was making it, I was flooded with memories of my mom making this cereal, serving it into bowls for us kids ( 10 of us) then putting it between the back doors to cool off before we ate it. Such a great memory.

Received my order quickly. The mashed potatoes are packaged conveniently for scooping with measuring cups. Impressed with the simple ingredients. Haven’t made any yet, but ARVA was quick to respond with the recipe instructions for making them.
