With the return of Red River cereal from the Arva Mills, my health food appetite has sent out a big cheer! I loved it as a kid and love it more as an adult. The delicious nutty taste and no brainer start to my day with high fibre goes great with the natural sugars as I now sweeten it either with frozen blueberries or raisins and cranberries. Thank you Arva Mills for the return of just what the common sense doctor ordered!

Our family loves Red River cereal so being able to find a source for it again is wonderful. The ordering process was easy and the shipment quick and accurate. If you haven't tried Red River you must - it's nutritious, delicious and Canadian!

I am very satisfied with this product, I have tried others and there's no comparison. Arva Whole Wheat Flour is the best.

I hadn't had Red River cereal since our father made it for us when we were kids, so finding out that it is available right here in Ontario was a happy surprise. I bring it to a boil in a pot in the evening and let it sit, covered, overnight, so cooking it in the morning takes only a few minutes. Delicious with a dribble of maple syrup and a bit of milk. Thank you, Arva!

Quality makes a difference.

Made my first einkorn bread and the loaves turned out as expected with the tops only slightly rounded. But the flavour was awesome. Next project will be einkorn ginger cookies.

I use this flour to feed my sourdough. It is the BEST. The blend of other flours I use in the breads, sourdough or not, is Arva Einkorn and Arva Daisy Unbleached Hard. Loaves are consistent in excellent flavour and texture. Much appreciation extended to the Arva Mill for providing these nutritious and delicious flours and helping to preserve ancient grains.

A great general purpose flour. Using in breads, cookies, muffins, crumbles....anywhere I would use a general purpose flour... with consistent excellent results.

Whether sourdough or not, the inclusion of one cup of Arva's Einkorn flour per loaf of bread baked makes a beautiful loaf with a great taste and texture. Thank you!!!

Great with milk. Love having a Canadian option. I understand it's free of additives, but a version supplemented with iron would be nice.

Larger coarser pieces than Quaker brand available in stores so it needs linger cooking time.

It is more coarsly cut (larger chunks of oats) than the store bought Quaker brand, and needs longer cooking.

Definitely notching above your traditional steel-cut oats! Won’t ever go back…delicious.

Having grown up in Canada but now living in the US it is difficult to attain my all time favorite, healthy Red River cereal so when I visit my family in Edmonton I order multiple packages to take back with me. Thumbs up to Arva Flour Mill for this 5 star product.

When a parcel arrives on the doorstep in his name, my grandson is always excited. You'd expect that the excitement would be to open the package but it's soon surpasses by his excitement to bake it.

I love Arva flour, and I appreciate the delivery option as well.

We recently tried Arva's Red River 7 Grain Hot Cereal and enjoyed it very much. It's great tasting and very satisfying. We'll definitely be ordering more.
