Ingredients
-
6 cups Arva Imperial Pastry Flour
-
2 tsp Salt
-
1 tbsp Baking Powder
-
1lb Lard
-
1 tbsp Vinegar
-
1 Large egg, lightly beaten

Water
Directions
Sift flour, salt and baking powder into a large bowl. Stir with whisk to combine.
Using pastry blender, cut in lard, until well distributed, and lumps are the size of small peas.
In a 1 cup measure, combine vinegar and egg. Add enough water to make 1 cup liquid.
Add liquid gradually, tossing flour mixture with fork to ensure even distribution. Add only enough liquid to make dough cling together.
Gather into a ball. Divide into 6 portions. Roll each portion on a lightly floured surface.
