     Arva Flour Mills - Hot Cereal Cooking Instructions

    ½ cup Arva 8 Grain
    1½ cup Water
    ¼ Tsp Salt
    Stovetop:  Bring water and salt to a boil. Add Arva 8 Grain, reduce heat to medium low, and cook for
    8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let stand a few minutes.
    Microwave: In a large bowl, combine 1/4 cup Arva 8 Grain, pinch of salt and 3/4 cup water.
    Microwave on high for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let stand for 2 minutes.

    A nice breakfast

    I found it a challenge to prepare in the microwave and had it boil over a few times, gradually increasing the size of the bowl I was using and lowering the amount of oats. I also overcooked it once (again in the microwave) until it burned just a bit - which made it taste *amazing*. Now I throw some in a pan to brown it before cooking to bring out the flavor. I usually add cinnamon, a couple of packets of stevia and a drop or two of vanilla. When it's ready I then add a dollop of whole cream to make it really delicious.
    I want to try making it in the instant pot next.
    Is there nutritional information for the 8-grain cereal? I couldn't find any.
