I made whole wheat potato bread and it is perfect!

Wow, love it! I will buy it again!

I grew up in north London near Arva Flour Mills and passed by it thousands of times on the way to visit my grandmother in Exeter. And never went in when I lived in London. Somehow I recently found out that Arva Flour Mills had acquired the rights to, and resurrected, our beloved Red River Cereal. I visited during a family visit to London, bought a bag, and found out that there is an online store - with lots of other great products, foremost the mill's own flours. In these days where so much of the food industry is in corporate and foreign hands, it is a fine thing to find a business such as Arva Flour Mills that is doing something independent, authentic, and honest. And even finer in this worrying geopolitical time in which our sovereignty is under threat.

This is my pantry staple! I bake many things, but use this exclusively for sourdough, sometimes with a bit of red fife mixed in.

We love red fife! I make pancakes with it (100%) and add it to the daisy unbleached for my sourdough loaves. It has a slightly nutty flavor. We tried emmer and einkorn too but prefer red fife. It is now an essential in my pantry. now.

Great product and company. Was extremely happy when Arva decided to revive this cereal.

I use this flour for all breads, and the one that comes out tasting great with excellent results is Daisy Flour --- excellent for pizza as well.

I find that using quick rise yeast achieves excellent results... flour is just gorgeous!!

I make a lot of raisin bran muffins, and whole wheat bread, this flour is tasty and helps me achieve my families needs -- which is tasty food!!

So glad to be able to have the same Red River cereal from when I was growing up. I was so sad when it almost completely disappeared form store shelves. Ordering directly from Arva is cost effective, quick and a great experience overall. My kids are glad I finally made and order and they can have this porridge again.
