So happy to find this cereal again! Loved it as a child and it turns out I still love it. The bag contents were fresh with clear preparation instructions.

Curiously, I did not discover Red River cereal until late in life. Raised in Alberta, I grew up with a competitive product. When we moved to PEI, the western product was unavailable but I found Red River cereal, and loved it. It doesn't seem to be on the store shelves any more, but online ordering from Arva is easy and utterly reliable. I'm very happy to be able to buy what is, really, my favourite cereal at a reasonable price and with inexpensive shipping. Great stuff! And try it with raisins, chopped pecans and cut-up candied ginger. Addictive!

I love that Arva Mills now has the recipe for Red River Cereal that was discontinued by the original manufacturer. It tastes exactly like the original.

The workshop was well organized with learning outcomes. I really enjoyed the hands on experience and learning about the texture of the sourdough through each stage. Scott comes with experience and enthusiasm. He’s a walking book of knowledge.

Love that you offer a larger size, more freshly milled buckwheat flour than can typically be found in natural food stores. This is a much-loved flour for the sourdough pancakes and crepes I make on regular repeat.
