Love this flour for sourdough baking!

I bought my first box on a whim - which seemed kind of ridiculous, given that I usually just make corn bread from scratch. But one night I had just finished throwing a pot of chili on the stove and I had a leftover cob of corn and a jalapeno. I figured now was my moment! I cut the corn kernels off the cob, chopped up the jalapeno, stirred it all into the mix and about half an hour later, out came the most delicious cornbread I've ever made. And yes, I have since reordered!

My 3 pack of Beer Bread arrived. Hardest was trying to decide which one to try first. Picked the Red River Cereal box. I used a can of sugar-free iced tea as the carbonated beverage. I baked the bread in my toaster oven and it turned out great. Bad thing is, I fear weight gains happening in our house due to the fantastic taste of this simply made but oh so yummy bread!! I can see future family potlucks where I am going to sign up for bringing freshly baked loaves. Will definitely be ordering many, MANY more!

The raisins are great. I use them in my brown rice pudding and whole grain muffins.

Of all the potato flakes I’ve used over the years, these are by far the best. I can use somewhat less flakes than other brands and they have the best flavour. My hubby wants mashed potatoes with every meal and the dehydrated flakes are a lifesaver. It takes less than four minutes to make, saving a lot of time over starting from scratch. He cannot tell the difference between made from fresh potatoes versus made from dehydrated flakes. After all, they are 100% potatoes. I make them in the microwave with water, milk, butter and a bit of salt. Excellent product!

Good pink beans, hard to find in Canada

We are really enjoying the pancake, scone and beer bread mixes! Can’t wait to get our order of Red River Cereal and Daisy flour 😊

I substituted the raisins with dried but apple juiced cranberries and the applesauce with 2 cups of briefly blended canned gooseberries. Then served with church raspberry jam and butter and cheese. Changed the cook time to 30 minutes before a knife came out clean. Most Excellent flavour and texture.

This is my daily breakfast. It’s worth the extra time to cook and delicious with a dollop of applesauce, blueberries or loganberries on top. Gram for gram (or ounce for ounce) it’s less expensive than the puffed up breakfast cereals.

Rather than making a loaf, I cook the batter in a lightly greased muffin tin and bake for 20 minutes. Makes 12. I freeze any leftovers.

Easy to make and tasty.

I started using this flour recently, its the best flour. My blood sugar doesn't spike after consuming it, which is not the case with other regular flours.
