Having lived across from the owner mark rinker as children, marks father bricked our farm house and we then took our wheat and corn to the flour mills . Tried the beer bread mix having purchased it when we were in the London area . Very delicious and so easy to make. Well done . Continued success mark and family . Ingrid Renaud (Trumper)
This was my first try at making Arva Beer Bread and found the instructions simple and easy. The Italian version was delicately spiced and the bread had a delicious biscuit like texture.
Easy to make with minimal ingredients and next to no hassle or mess. Remember to use unsalted butter and you will have a delicious corn cake
When you factor in the cost of a can of beer, (especially if you have to buy one can because you don't DRINK beer), this puts the price of one single loaf of bread at upwards of 17.00. Perhaps it should be made clear on the box/website that the box makes only one loaf. I won't buy this again, for sure, despite being a big fan of other Arva Mills products.
First trip out +
Lady on phone the night before was very helpful and confident.
We went today and the young lady who waited on us was so patient and knowledgeable we left happy to have been there. Both of us smiling and happy about finally finding this rare gem.
Wow .
I do not give out "wows" very often but maybe two "wows" for service and product
Thanks
